Lengyel Design is a product design office in Essen. It was founded in 1995 by Gabor Lengyel, designer and engineer.
We work in industrial design, product design and strategic design. Our focus is on lighting and smart home, seating and street furniture. Other key areas are electrical and electronic devices, capital goods, packaging and 3D corporate design in collaboration with corporate design agencies. We work on intercultural and interdisciplinary projects worldwide. We use the latest AI software to support research, idea generation, design and implementation.
Lengyel Design's clients include companies such as ARAL*, Berker*, Deutsche Post DHL, Dormakaba*, ESE World, Esslinger Group, Gira, Haier, Insta, Jahn, Mauser Sitzkultur*, PetroChina, Postbank, Schütte and 3M.

Gabor Lengyel worked as a member of the Board at frog design (today frog, part of Capgemini Invent) for clients such as Alpine Electronics, Allibert-Jardin, AT&T, BMW, Fissler, Gazzoni, Head, Hilti, Jado / Ideal Standard, KaVo, König+Neurath, Qiagen, Revox, Rosenthal, Siemens, Swatch, Texas Instruments and Villeroy&Boch.
